St Peter's Nativity

Christmas time in Rome again and the nativity in St Peter's square is a replica of the original St Francis nativity that he created on his return to Italy from the Holy lands on the 800th year anniversary. The nativity is set against a stone wall replica of Greccio, where St Francis made the first nativity, and where he started a monastery. We visited Greccio last year as part of our first year induction Gita and I featured it in an earlier blog. Unfortunately the photos are missing deleted.
