Last week saw an end to a short film that was being projected onto St Peter's. It was a film that lasted about 10 minutes that showed in animation the life of St Peter and how he started out as a fisherman and came to have a city built around him.

The affects we amazing being projected onto St Peter's with a big sound system bellowing out around St. Peter's square it was quite impressive. I filmed about two minutes of it and took some pictures so you could get the idea. I thought it might be on the Vatican website but I could not find it anywhere.

Lights, camera action!

and the other side.

Is that Pope Francis still up? No it is actually a mosaic of the Blessed virgin that is lit up at night unfortunately it comes out as a bright light.

The Road leading up to St. Peter's, makes quite an impression when walking toward it.
