In April Beda College with the help of the Scott College saw the inaugural seven a side soccer competition between seminarians take place. Inspired by the Irish College tournament of the Fr Ragheed Ganni memorial and the demand for more games between the seminaries we decided to run a seven side competition to give everyone more opportunity.
A lot of organisation and effort went into the day from my self and Gerard from the Scott's College but it was well worth it with eight teams participating and all guaranteed four games with semi's and final deciding the winners.

At the end of the day everyone enjoyed a good day of football with 130 Euros' raised for the parish charity the Ukrainian Food Relief. We wait until next year to do it all again.
